We have come once again to this glorious time of the year: advent.
Does Christmas ever sneak up on you and you realize that you have been too busy or distracted to soak in the true grandeur of this season? I have. Sometimes I feel like we are so wrapped up in other things that we miss the incredible gift set before us: this baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. This baby that will change the world. This baby that is God in the flesh.
It is my prayer that we would not miss Him this year. It is my prayer that we would behold His glory. May we not be found too busy or too distracted. It is my earnest prayer and desire that every heart would prepare Him room.
