Welcome to our new blog: Daughters of Delight!

 I am overjoyed to share this blog with you and I hope it can be a great resource for us and source of accountability and encouragement as we seek the Lord together!

 So, you might ask…What is the purpose of this blog?

 Great question! I am glad you asked. This blog was created as a way to encourage one another along towards greater intimacy with the Lord. Starting July 1st, we will post a scripture to read daily. We hope that everyone who desires to take part in this will take time to meditate and pray over the passage. Then please post your thoughts, questions and/or reflections in the comments section when you have time. This is so important because we all have something valuable to share and we need to hear from one another what the Lord places on our hearts.

We hope this blog can be interactive. We will post reflections and questions and hope that everyone will respond in the comment section so that we can hear from one another all that the Lord is teaching us. The scriptures say to ‘encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness’ Hebrews 3:13. We NEED each other. We need to hear from each other and constantly encourage one another in the Lord. We hope the blog can be a place where this can happen!

In the next week there will be posts on why we chose the name, great scriptures to memorize, how to meditate on scripture and how to create goals you can stick to! We hope that all of you can post your goals by July 1st and that we can keep each other accountable in our desire to seek a closer walk with the Lord!
