He is Our Mighty God

Praise the Lord that He is mighty and powerful. Praise Him that He can do abundantly above and beyond all that we ask or imagine. Pray that your lost family and friends would know Jesus as the mighty God who has come to save them from their sins.

Read Isaiah 9:6

...and his name shall be called...
Mighty God...

Jesus is mighty God.

The second person of the trinity.

God the son.

The son of God.

The great I Am.

From everlasting to everlasting, Jesus is God.

Though the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses will fight this in its truest sense. He is God, and He has the power of God which is why He can heal the sick , raise the dead, cast out demons, calm the storm, walk on water, and die on the cross and raise Himself up. He is God. And because He is our warrior God, our mighty God, He is able to fight our battles, and He is able to empower us to overcome the world and the flesh and the devil. Whatever situation you are facing, He is mighty to save. He is able to do abundantly, exceedingly beyond all that you ask or imagine. Do you believe that? Our mighty God is mighty to save, mighty to empower us to conquer sin, mighty to help us in our need and mighty to redeem and rescue the world from Satan, sin, death and hell.

Read through the beautiful poetry of the hymn, “Hark the Herald Angel Sing”. Meditate on it’s truths. Highlight it’s references to the deity of Christ.

Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King;

Peace on earth, and mercy mild, God & sinners reconciled!

 ”Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies;

With angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”

Christ, by highest Heaven adored; Christ the everlasting Lord;

Late in time, behold Him come, offspring of a virgin’s womb.

Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail the incarnate Deity,

Pleased as men with men to dwell, Jesus our Emmanuel.

Hail the heaven born Prince of Peace! Hail the Son of

Righteousness!

Light & life to all He brings, risen with healing in His wings.

Mild He lays His glory by, born that man no more may die;

Born to raise the sons of earth, born to give them second birth.

Come, Desire of nations, come, fix in us Thy humble home;

Rise, the woman’s conquering Seed, bruise in us the serpent’s head.

Now display Thy saving power, ruined nature now restore;

Now in mystic union join, thine to ours, and ours to Thine.

Adam’s likeness, Lord, efface, stamp Thine image in its place:

Second Adam from above, reinstate us in Thy love.

Let us Thee, though lost, regain, Thee, the Life, the inner man:

Oh, to all Thyself impart, formed in each believing heart.
