Praise the Father that the Son will govern our world perfectly. Praise Him for His sovereignty, His power and His goodness.
Read Isaiah 9:6
...and the government shall be upon his shoulder..
Who else is worthy of such an honor and such a commission? Only Christ. The government of the whole world shall be upon His shoulder…the only one truly fit to lead. All other politicians, even the most godly, will let us down. People have put their hope in governments since they came into existence, and yet they will never fix what is broken in this dark world. Only one can.
ONLY ONE CAN.
You can make rules and policies, but unless the human heart is changed, there will always be evil and brokenness. We need someone who not only fixes systems and laws but that can change the human heart and empower the person to do what is good and right and pleasing to God. We need someone who can give us a love for the laws of God and empower us to obey them from a pure heart. SUCH a Saviour has been born to us. Such a King has been given to us…
